A transplant to Northern California, Shelene (Shelly) Perriard earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master’s degree in both Business Administration and Organizational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Walden University respectively. She completed her professional coaching certification through the University of California, Davis and is a certified professional coach through the International Coach Federation.
Shelly began her journey as a Career and Leadership Coach in 2007 after more than 25 years as a successful business leader and trusted advisor in the financial services industry. She left corporate America to stay home with her newborn twins and figure out what was next. With a passion for people and connecting them to work they love, Shelly uses her experience as a successful business leader and Myers-Briggs practitioner to help individuals find their best fit work. She believes that engaging in a profession that aligns with your strengths, interests, and natural preferences enables you to do your best work.
As a leadership coach, Shelly leverages her business experience to bring a balance of both strategic and pragmatic perspectives to the coaching relationship. Shelly coaches mid- to senior-level executives across industries to achieve the performance breakthroughs, professional growth, and career aspirations they desire. She asks powerful, thought-provoking questions to challenge assumptions and help make the invisible visible. As a certified practitioner of Conversational Intelligence® and Myers-Briggs, Shelly specializes in communication and interaction dynamics, using her knowledge of communication intricacies to support leaders to build stronger relationships, empower teams, and have greater influence in the organization. Other areas of specialization include executive presence and influence, career transitions, team and individual development, and leading through change. Shelly's coaching style is direct, insightful, and goal-centered with a focus on sustainable results.
Shelly is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Bay Area Association of Psychological Type (BAAPT), and she volunteers her time in the community as a life coach for Girls on the Run Napa-Solano. Shelly resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
